Chemical and Oil Spills

A contractor responsible for spraying weeds and native regrowth was found to have washed out his spray tanks in a permanent stream.
This dangerous and illegal practice affects all forms of life downstream, including livestock whose milk we drink and meat we eat.

Evidence is found of oils being drained into the soil, apparently when servicing machinery.

Before burns strong smells of oil indicate that it is being used to accelerate the fire. Napalm is frequently dropped from a helicopter to start fires in steep country.
